Maithree is an organization formed by the parents, to take care of the needs of the special children with a clear vision to integrate the person with mental handicap into the mainstream in order to bring in dignity in their lives. Maithree made a humble beginning in 1994.

parents as professionals and administrators
in this filed advisors and counselors for
the needy, services providers and also beneficiaries.
It is committed to continually help and
serve the growing needs of these special
individuals by organizing and mobilizing
resources and executing programs, to enhance
their skills and potentialities through
envisaging and implementing an appropriate
array of services. Also, it pledges to provide
a secured future by maintaining the quality
and dignity of life even after the life
span of their parents.
